01 Setting Up Your Vocabulary Folder

The first step is creating a folder where you will store your duplicated vocabulary tests for the year.

Step 1: After you login to ExamSoft, click on Assessments.

Step 2: Creating Your Folder

Step 2: Creating Your Folder

You'll notice on the left hand side a listing of all the courses and next to each course a little gear.

Now this is all about organization. If you are the only one that teaches the course, click on the gear next to your course and select New Folder.

Titling the First Folder

Titling the Folder

The following will appear on your screen. Type Vocabulary 17-18 for the title and click on Create. This is where you will store all your duplicated vocabulary tests for the year. If two of you teach the same course, I would recommend you create a folder that is your last name and then within that folder create another folder that's called Vocabulary 17-18.

Step 3: Final Check

Step 3: Final Check

Ok, so what you'll see is your course and below the title a new folder called Vocabulary 17-18. And, yes, that minus sign means it's a folder. Someday ExamSoft will figure out how to use a folder icon.

Did the Folder Appear?

Click on your new folder. It will turn blue when selected...yes, I know it's gray above...some things are out of my control.

The Bigger Picture

If you look to the right of your screen, that is where all the duplicated vocabulary tests will appear once you start to add them.

Ok, you folder is set up for the year and now it's time to duplicate your first vocabulary test.
