Unlinking Glossary Terms

If you have set up a glossary of terms you will find there are times in your headings, titles, or quizzes that you don't want terms linked. If you find words are linked that you don't want here are some steps to unlink them. Make sure you check all quizzes before having your students take them in order to catch linked words.

In a quiz, Aristotle is highlighted as a term in the glossary. To unlink a word.

1. Highlight the word

2. Click on the unlink button.

If a work is not in a text box that has HTML editor, you have to use code in order to make sure it is not linked.
